Agnes Water Main Beach is a beautiful stretch of coastline, popular for its great surf and relaxed atmosphere. With convenient parking and dog-friendly zones (both on and off leash), it’s an ideal spot for a day by the sea.
Just a short drive from Agnes Water, this sheltered surf beach offers good waves when the sandbanks align. Access is via a 200m path, leading to a pet-friendly day-use area with shade, toilets, BBQs, and cold showers.
A stunning beach set in a picturesque location, complete with scenic walking trails and breathtaking lookouts. The added bonus is the dog-friendly areas, making it a perfect spot for both locals and their four-legged friends.
Springs Beach is a local favourite for surfing, walking, and escaping the crowds. Access is via a boardwalk off Springs Road, opposite the Paperbark Forest Walk. The Red Rock Walking Trail begins here, offering stunning coastal views. The beach is unpatrolled and dogs are not permitted, but it’s also a popular spot for wedding ceremonies.
The Town of 1770 is a family favourite, with safe, wave-free swimming perfect for kids. Mid to high tide is best, and the foreshore offers BBQs, picnic spots, and nearby cafes. Kayak and SUP hire are available, with a caravan park and boat ramp close by — and don’t miss the rare east coast sunset over Bustard Bay. Dogs are welcome.
